i have decided that I’m going to sell most of my EDC knives and primarily use just two for normal EDC stuff. I’m going to keep an Ontario Rat 1 D2 as my main knife for yard work and I cut up a ton of cardboard for work and a Manix 2 LW S110V for work. I’m also going to be keeping a Large Sebenza in Box Elder Burl as it was made on my parents 55th wedding anniversary. I’ll also be keeping two small Sebenza Insingo Carbon Fibers from Knifeart as one was made on my moms and the other made on my dads birthdays. I want to get a matching pair of Large and Small Sebenzas or Inkosis to use as my main carrys. I’ve done a ton of reading and I’m just having a tough time deciding between the two. I’m getting Micarta Insingos for both. I don’t abuse my knives, just like carrying a nice blade. Kinda like my pool sticks, I could probably shoot just as well with a cheaper cue, but I prefer the ones I have. Do you guys or gals have any opinions on a matching set of either? Thanks, Rick.

It’s a tough call, i have a large seb21 (had 2), large inkosi and now an umnumzaan. Between the seb21 and inkosi, i prefer the inkosi. The zero lock stick, massive oversized washers, dual lugs from factory and slightly more robust blade make it take the cake for me. Plus the ergos feel a bit better for me. But the seb21 is just as good and I’d not feel any less carrying that. It is after all the classic crk and its design philosophy is top notch.

For me the comparison between the small seb and inkosi are the deciding knives. The small seb would be my choice as it fits better in my hand as compared to small feeling inkosi

Inkosi. The subtle differences in the insingo profiles favors the Inkosi, at least aesthetically. I’d go for a drop point in the small however. Just a personal preference thing.

Of the choices, I would say Large 21 and Small Inkosi. I really like the way the Inkosi feels, so stout for its size. A lot of blade in a small package as well.

Although, I do prefer small for both, so I have/carry a Small 21 WC and a Small Inkosi PJ.

Large Inkosi and small Seb 21 is my suggestion. Tough choice as they all are excellent options. I have XL hands, so larges fit my hands well. For small CRK's, I prefer my small sebs to my small Inkosi.

Since you already are familiar with the 21's, get a matching pair of 21's. Thinner blade stock, somewhat better slicers because of the thinner blade, not as robust as a Inkosi/25 or Umnumzaan but yet will handle anything you throw at it.

Large Inkosi, small Sebenza.
If it has to be a matching set, I'll take the 21.
hope this helps

Small Inkosi or large Sebenza are my favorites EDC depending if I can carry a large lads or not

its a rare moment that I agree with what seems like the majority here. My "pick two" CRK choice is Lg Inkosi & Sm Sebenza.

Pretty much my thoughts as well.

Get a large of one and a small of the other; I’ve had sebenzas and decided I wanted an inkosi; now I have an inkosi and i sort of want another sebenza. So the only solution is to have one of each.

A small sebenza makes a great edc . But an inkosi would be a great choice too . It would be best to handle both .
Or buy both and sell the one you like the least .

This summer I carried a small Inkosingo with CF scale.
It did really well.
While it took some time to get used to the short handle it is now sufficient to me.

PS: Isn't it fun how a thread goes on, even without the OP?

my longtime experience has been the thinner the blade the better ( up to a point!) so I favor the LG 21 .. Insingo preferably....unless you are really hard on a knife...
