Anyone know if CRK will send out Inkosi washers? I mean without having to send the knife in? I know (and understand why) bushing pivot models have washers "fitted" for proper action, but with the adjustable pivot and "floating" stop pin, is this a requirement for an Inkosi? The reason I am asking is for the purpose of upgrading from the washers that have the "open window" at the front to the newer "closed window" versions currently in use.
 
Are you referring to the new washers where when the knife is closed there is no window for the ingress of dirt or lint? I would think you could just contact CRK and they will send them to you.
 
I don't see why they wouldn't send them to you. CRK is not anal about its customers taking their knives apart, in fact they encourage it. I would think they would tell you if the washers they would send you would fit ok or not. Since they trust us to take it apart why wouldn't they trust you to install the new washers, which they must have deemed necessary or they wouldn't have made them.
 
You are looking for the washers without the openings like this right?




I thought I read somewhere where they sent them out free of charge for people to swap them out.
