Just spoke to the source.

--shipping first units in November

--"we do have plans for customizations," but they don't know what specifically or when. This in response to a question about inlays.

I was really hoping for a September ship date that they were talking about earlier. But things like that usually take longer than initially planned.

Got an email this morning from Knife Center, they have 30 of the 1st production Inkosi's available for $2375 each....Personally I think I'm going to wait till November.

That really sucks. I had hoped for September .... or maybe a few might sneak out earlier than that.

I guess I'll focus on my unique graphic idea to keep me happy while I wait for the Inkosi.

2375??? That's a couple of mortgage payments!! I can't wait to get my (regular production) one this winter!

Seems like a crazy amount of money. I am curious how fast these will sell at that price. Obviously they got their $2500 for the Sebenza 25 prototypes, so they must know what the market will bear. When I consider I am lost though. Let's see.......I could get three large 21s with Damascus blades and inlays/graphics, or one small Inkosi. I dunno, think I'd choose the 21s.

Yeah, a local shop was excited to tell me they got one of the first 30. Sounded awesome until he told they are MSRP of $2,500. He has a Damascus with mammoth inlay in his case for less than half that, lol. I know which I would rather have if I was spending multiple house payments at one time.
