Inlay sebenza replacment scale?

Something i have been wondering about... Does crk offer replacement scales for wood inlays? Can they take the old wood inlays off your tit lockbar scale and attach them on the new one? I dont need it done but my primary edc is a lg ebony inlay so if i were to break the lockbar for some bizare reason or crack an inlay...

Short answer, no.

It would destroy the inlays if they tried to remove them.
 
As atony said, they would destroy them taking them out. That said, they probably could put in a complete new set if the need arises-presume at your cost. I don't know if they would be willing or able to match a singe inlay.
 
Since no one on this forum has ever either broken their lock bar off, cracked an inlay, or had an inlay fall out (to the best of my knowledge during my time here), I would say you should worry about something else more likely, like winning the lotto.

Im not worried but i like to know my a$% is covered either way, I have also never heard of a cracked inlay during my time here. Ill go google it!
 
My search has turned up no cracked sebenzas, so thats good to know.
 
I love the questions people pose here. It may have never happened or maybe it did, it is something to think about. What a great place. Thanks for the question MEJ.
 
I know Mr. H has replaced a inlay on an annual Sebenza with carbon fiber.
 
I don't know of anyone who has had a lockbar break off, but there have been cases where CRK replaced the lockbar due to warranty issues, so the situation could come up. I still would not worry about it at all. They are very fair and nice people in the customer service and would take care of you as best they could. Unfortunately they can only replace with new, so your well worn in look will be lost.
