I love my plain YCS and wouldn't go out hiking w/o it.

I've avoided doing so lately.:(
The copper inlay is separating. :(
(I was suprised at the thickness of the inlay. Having no experience w/ inlays it seemed that they were thinner.:footinmou )

This does not pose a problem functionally of course. However, she is a beauty and I'd like to fix the problem.

Any suggestions?

Not sure what this inlay is in(which can affect this), but I would probably initail look at epoxy or epoxy steel(JB Weld) prodcts to reattach it. Try not to use more than necessary, then use rubbing alcohol or acetone(for epoxy) or wd 40(for JB weld) to clean up any excess after you squeeze the two bonding surfaces together.

The inlays must be hammered in, then ground down with the rest of the blade--question is, is it done hot?
