Hello fellow Bladeforums members,
I hope that I have posted this thread in the correct section of the forum; if I have erred, I do apologize.
I have a recently purchased Kershaw Blur S30V. I absolutely love the knife - an already great design with an upgrade in blade steel and finish. My only dislikes of it are the Trac-tek inserts. They make the sleek knife cumbersome to remove from the pocket, and I truly don't need the grip from them.
My hope is that a maker or tinkerer on the forums here would be able to make a custom set or sets of inserts for me to replace the stock ones. I really like the look and feel of carbon fiber, and well-finished G10, but I'm open to any suggestions as to a material of similar criteria. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a custom maker/tinkerer who may be able to do something like this, or any custom maker/tinkerer who has come across this thread?
Thank you very much,
Thomas
