There have been 51 presidents of the United States. 8 under the Articles of Confederation and 43 under the Constitution of the United States. Donald Trump becomes the 44th president (45th if you count Grover Cleveland twice).

I'm not a Trump supporter.....but I HATE Obama. I'm a constitutionalist.......regardless, I love that knife!!
 
I wonder if President Trump has one? And who originally commissioned it? "Make America Great" was trademarked 4 days after former President Obama 'roasted' President Trump at a dinner. ...What I'm waiting for is the first offical US coin or paper note with his name. ..Maybe a $3.00 bill?
 
I'm not really big on commemorative knives for some reason, but this is pretty awesome seeing as most of what's out there ( including what my brother received for Christmas ) are flea market specials.
I really wish there had been a third candidate, but I was just happy that -------------------------------------- didn't win and I hope he does a good job ( not that he could possibly do a worse job )
 
My personal congratulations to all the American people with a new president.
It was a huge election campaign , that has rarely been seen for the last thirty years or so, it was with a lot of excitement. impression, impatience,scandals etc.,
it was unbelievably widely discussed out here in the RF.

This 2016 electoral campaign has a hefty impact all over the world.

I think Americans are somewhat self absorbed. (Humor follows) .... Perhaps we have "HUBRIS" ...
I traveled to SE Asia about 1980 and was shocked to learn how much people knew about my country and how little I knew about theirs.

That's pretty true, for example very few Americans likely know the difference between England or Brittan and what actually makes up the UK. I know I knew nothing about it until recently and still don't know the whole story.
 
Garryale, just to stay on a knife topic. Are Buck knives readily for sale in Russian stores? Just curious.

Yes, Buck knives are widely represented in the Russian Federation. I think out here is at least one official dealer of Buck knives, and some other companies are resellers of Buck knives. Buck knives are mostly available for sale in the specialized hunting stores and in the stores for outdoor activity, mostly in big cities of the RF. Folders are sold with no limitation in the RF, fixed blades are available when someone has his hunting license or license for firearm ,Buck knives are popular in the RF, out here are many knife forums and hunting forums with huge number of topics of thousands pages discussing Buck knives, the most popular are Buck 110, Buck 192, Vantage , Bantam etc.

Problem how Trump speaks to his citizens. Has he ever had
a good breeding? Let's see what happens next. He has to be
proud to find his name on a Buck knife.
