I ran across something with my new BK2 I thought I would share........
I planned on using an inner tube on the handle of my BK2 to make it grip better. Yesterday I picked up some tubes and cut one up and put it on. Well it felt good but I decided to put another one on top, i.e. two layers of inner tube. It felt perfect!
I tried to snap the handle to my sheath and it wouldn't snap.
With two layers of inner tube on the handle the sheath would not snap at all. With one inner tube it would snap but takes a lot of effort. Also I noticed that if the inner tube is too close to the blade end of the handle it will interfere with the fit into the sheath as well.
For me it's not a big deal as I have ordered a Spec-Ops Sheath but thought it maybe would be useful information to others who may be thinking of using this handle modification.
