Just got a white LED microlight. Compact size means it'll always be on you, has a push-button for momentary AND a slide-switch for extended on without pushing down the button. Fantastic Inova quality, sturdy steel clip, and for $8.00, EVERYONE should get one!

The Inova Microlight is brighter than my Princeton Tec Matrix with fresh batteries.

The Inova Microlights are also come in translucent cases. PocketLights.com has them in stock.

Man you guys missed it when I had almost 20 of them at $5 each. All gone now...:D

Dkochan: One thing about the translucent ones, is that they allow a lot of the light to spill back at the user, which does two things:

1) ruins your night vision further

2) significantly reduces the amount of light that is directed where you want it.

Thanks, though

Review? Sounds like the others (Photon, Princeton-Tec).

About your comments on the translucent ones, I would suggest that some folks want all the light they can get out of their miniature light.

Unless the opaque versions have an efficient reflector/lens, how will a translucent body significantly reduce the amount of light directed where I want it?

Marten: Just think of the translucent one as more of a candle: light spills all over; into your face, etc.

Compare this to any regular flashlight, which directs the light wherever you want it.

I don't care really...get whatever works for you

Note that flashlights have reflective and focussing lenses.
I don't think mini-LEDs have that.

take care!
