...but I thought you'd maybe like to know anyway.
Just got a white LED microlight. Compact size means it'll always be on you, has a push-button for momentary AND a slide-switch for extended on without pushing down the button. Fantastic Inova quality, sturdy steel clip, and for $8.00, EVERYONE should get one!

I have a white one on my keychain all the time...works well and I like the constant on/off feature.

It seems that most people have the photon though. Is the photon better?

Thank you again-

I'd like to second the Inova Microlight. I used to carry Photon II on my keychain. Thought it was so cool I got all my family one for christmas. Second week in January I picked up one of these on a whim. Wish I could've gotten these for my family instead. The protected led makes it act more like a flashlight and less like a candle. Also reduces light spilling back in your eyes. The momentary on/off is a bit odd sometimes, but I never use it anymore because of the extraordinarily convenient on/off. It's so nice. No prying with your thumbnail like with the Photon II. You just use your whole thumb to slide it on, then back off again.

Buy one. They can be found on ebay for 7 bucks including shipping. I recommend the black, not the clear body. Clear body is 'neat' but you seem to loose light and it spills back into your eyes much like the Photon II.

Again - get one.

The inova microlight is a dog in my opinion. Had one for about three months and the cover over the battery came off and got lost. Same thing happened to one my dad had. I'll never buy another. I replaced it with a photon microlight and as far as I'm concerned it is the best one out there.

I like it better than the others I have tried. It actually doesn't get much use since the Surefire is what I reach for first, but the clip is really great and it still works beautifully after a year of being on my keychain. I think they're better than the Photons but that's just me.

i have the white one and that little guy is amazingly bright. it got wet inside tho, but i just dried it off and it works like new again. very handy and reliable

The Inova MicroLights are neat LED Keychain lights that also come in translucent bodies. The newer models are similar to the Photon II's because they have a squeeze switch and an on/off switch. Another benefit of the Inova MicroLight is that the LED is recessed in the housing so the LED is protected.

Dkochan: One thing about the translucent ones, is that they allow a lot of the light to spill back at the user, which does two things:

1) ruins your night vision further

2) significantly reduces the amount of light that is directed where you want it.

Thanks, though
