Can anyone tell me if this is the same size light as the XO5?? Or if any of the T series are the same specs?? Also does anyone have a direct website for Inova or a customer service e-mail?

My XO5 crapped out on my yesterday and I need to send it in for warrenty repair. I use it daily and would like to purchase a replacement while I wait and it would be cool if I was able to get a different version so I don't have two of the same light. The reason I want one an identical size is I have a custom leather sheath for the XO5 that I would like this one to fit also. Thanks in advance

The T1 is almost the same size as the Inova X5t. I have both and a T3. But the T1 is thicker in diameter then the Inova X5t. It is a smidgen shorter, but it is wider. I can force the T1 into the X5t sheath(the one it came with), but it is a very tight fit.
Hope this helps.

That is of great help. Any noticable difference in brightness? Which of the two (XO5 vs T1) do you prefer?

The X5 is more of a flood light whereas the T1 has lots of throw. T1 uses a luxeon I led and is brighter than the X5. The T1 runs on 1 CR123 battery and has a much shorter burn time (1.5 hours regulated). The X5 runs for around 20 hours on 2 CR123 batteries but is not regulated so the output diminishes over time. Also, they use different tail switches. For constant on, you have to turn the tailcap of the X5 but for the T1, you just have to click all the way. For momentary on, just depress the switch slightly. I think the T1 has a tougher finish too (HAIII).

I carry the T1 and I like it a lot. For a review of the Inova T series of lights, go to:

Thats what I needed to know. This is a daily carry and sees allot of use. I think I will stick with the XO5 then for that purpose, but may check out the T series for home use :)

My T1 is brighter, but that is because I use my X5t with old batteries that won't power other lights. :)

There's an XO5 now? Cool. I have an XO3 and I love it. I use it every day. Anyone know the practical difference between the XO3 and XO5?
