Got rid of my Surefire E2E and just got a Inova T3, and all I can say is WOW!!!!! It puts my previous favorite, the Pelican M6 LED, to shame.

I have one on the way. Do you have a sheath for yours? If so, what kind and where did you get it? Thanks.

You got rid of an E2e? Shame on you. I carry both my Inova XO3 and my E2e.

Have you tried an XO3? Wonder how the T3 would compare to the XO3.

Not that I'd give up my XO3 -- I love it -- but I am curious.

The XO3 and T3 are the same except the T3 has a clicky tailswitch.

My XO3 has a clicky tailswitch -- but it is strictly momentary on. You twist the tailswitch for steady on. I guess the T3 switch is click for steady on and click again for off.

Actually the X03 uses the original octagonal body whereas the T3 uses the squared checkered round body. The later is a superb design that really works.

The X5 is the original that started with a fluted body and later went on to using the octagonal body as well. It still uses a 5 LED head and 2 CR123 batteries. And operates on a momentary pressure button. Or constant ON with twisting the same tailcap. Its brightness level is best suited for general lighting purposes. It is smaller than the T2 and T3 models. Both which uses the TIROS optics head with single LED. And has much greater lumens rating than the X5. They are also about twice as large and with flared heads.

I am waiting on my T3 as well. I sold all of my SF lights and have replaced them with 3 excellent lights for less money (I think.) I had an E1e and an E2e and sold them and got the Nuwai Q iii (EDC) and a Streamlight TL3 luxeon (for my home defense situations) and now waiting on my T3 to ride in my daily carry backpack for the "what-if" situations.

I think the big difference in the X03 and the T3 is the TYPE of tail caps. One has on/off and momentary (T3) and the X03 has only momentary. I like the on/off and I am anxious to get this little beauty. I have headr that they are amazing lights and that the lens makes a HIGE difference in the output.
