Inova X5 Tactical Light

My buddy gave me one for Christmas and it rocks! It has been in my jacket pocket constantly since he gave it to me. I just had to add one more item to the "never leave home without it" list!

Do a search and you will find LOTS of info on this light. I have one and I've been pleased with it since day one.
Good luck,
Matt

Awesome light. It's as tough as nails and looks great to boot. Works well as a floodlight although it doesn't have the reach of a Surefire type light (different technologies).

I've had mine for months now and it's been beat up and has come in handy many times. Another bonus is the runtime vs. light output. For the amount of light it puts out, the batteries last a looooong time. Still have yet to change the originals out.

edited -(that one you posted is the newer, but not newest version. I think TAD, maybe 1SKS has the newest one... it has a more angular body... hexagonal perhaps. Very nifty.)

great back-up light! the updated "tactical" version is a great bang for the buck! :D

I agree with samo, the newer "tactical" version is the one to go with. It's much nicer that the first one that came out, IMHO. I especially like the tailcap button on the "tactical" version.

Top pic is the new Inova bottom is the old, the new looks better IMHO, the tailcap switch makes all the difference in the world on it.

Both of those pictures are variations on the Inova X5T, functionally they are the same.

The older non-tactical X5 had the fluted body with a twist switch at the lens end of the body. The newer ones are much better.

I've used mine almost everyday now for about four months.
About the only problem I've had is the switch sometimes
gets sticky and won't turn on. I might have to take it apart
and look at it. It performs real well otherwise.

Great light, however i dont carry it much anymore, my badboy drop in mod is 2 times brighter and runs on AA's, which are cheaper and you can get rechargeable's which is a must have for a EDC that sees lots of use IMO unless you want to eat up expensive batteries.

I bought two from New Graham Knives. Very helpful and the lights were in stock at a very good price.

They are great! Small enough to be carry pain free, bright enough to do the job, and they don't drain the batteries after an hour like other bright lights that are small enough to carry comfortably.

I'm very happy with these.

Mike
