Hey Andy, first post on your forum. I have been lurking here a while and admiring your line of knives. Anywho, the bushcraft karda has always caught my eye. Seems like a great EDC and all around neat knife. I'm going to try and pick up a knife or two with my tax return...any chance of you doing run of bushcraft karda's with a convex sabergrind in a few weeks? Sorry, just wishing out loud. Thanks in advance.

Rick

Its really one of my favorite models. I think you are likely ok.

Thanks Andy, looking forward to my first fiddleback. Thanks for the heads up, Oregon Fal'er...I'm trying to hold out for a convex though. I've never actually had a scandi grind, but I have had convex and really loved them. Convex always seems to perform really well for whatever I needed.

Im all about convex az well.

On that knife as well as the Woodpecker I really like the scandi grind. I use both for daily utility work as well as wood carving and the scandi is so easy to sharpen and a small stone is always close by. However I do prefer the convex grinds on my bigger bushcrafting types of knives and use leather strops on them, so both have their applications. Don't shy away from scandi's you might find you like them!

That said, I'm holding my breath for a convex Bushpik!
