I have an older model, except the screws and the hole (lanyard?) looks similar. Hmmm...and the logo print, not very sure, but looks wrong ( anyway, it is slightly misplaced )
+ The locking liner it's cut straight, mine it's curved, following the handle ( + a hole in that liner )
+ The screw on the ring
I guess it's fake.

just my opinion but the logo looks too big and the liners and lock just look wrong, like they are too shiny and have a lot of striations on them like machining marks. the pivot also looks a little too shiny and domed out.

That is the new style pivot and the new karambits have a lanyard hole and that screw on the ring. I think that is one of the prestige line Karambits that came out not too long ago. My call is legit.

sir i think all 2012 kbits have lanyard hole now and also i think they added that support on the ring for it not to bend..

thank you sir..i sent some pics to EKI as well for verification..i just want comfirmation that its real..i dont want to depend on a knock off..as for the knife itself, its beefy as hell..thanks again..

Yes, I've checked, they have that lanyard hole and additional screw, mine it's 2006 :). You will love this cigar cutter :)

lol..thank you sir..i work at a auto shop,so this curved badboy is perfect for me cutting radiator hoses and a lot of stuff..:)

from ebay..todd-n-amy..said on the listing authorized emerson dealer..got the knife for the 269.95

This knife is real deal, and you mentioned you have took it apart if it's a fake you will able to tell due to the sharp edge on the liners and cheap coating on the blade.

yes sir..when i took it apart it looked like the real deal to me..

btw EKI replied that its a authentic kbit..thanks guys for your help..

The Combat Karambit is real. As others have mentioned, the 2012 model has the larger ring, lanyard hole, standoffs instead of a G10 spacer and a standoff in the ring itself. I have a 2010 model and a 2012 model. My 2012 model looks exactly like yours.

- The Combat Karambit is not one of the Prestige knives. The Prestige knives (Journeyman, Traveler, CQC-7v, etc.) are the ones exclusive to Prestige dealers.

Todd-n-army is my favorite knife guy on eBay. He's a straight up dude. All my interactions with him have been very positive.

A lanyard hole on a karambit makes no sense.
But the addition of a "ring stiffener" is a good idea.
