I decided last week to have some work done around the house that i just never seem to get to and my Wife convinced me to hire a pro even though I was capable of doing most of the work myself. I hired a reputable crew, they did great work "but" it turned into an ordeal that murdered my new dishwasher :(
With the dishwasher out of commission I've decided to use a bit more paper products than normal, and fewer utensils; which gave me the perfect excuse to make a nice omelet using solely my Sebenza 21 Insingo, and a pan of course.
I use it for everything i can find a reason to anyway but i like to have a reason, I'm sure that if you're reading this lame post you know exactly how it is.

Now for a couple of pics showing what a great omelet the Insingo helped me make this morning.

Here's a look at the ingredients I used, please feel free to try out using my secret ingredient (finely chopped and fried pepperoni) the next time that you make yourself some eggs, it adds a great touch!

Now for the fun part, slicing.

Since I was using a paper bowl I cracked the eggs on the spine of the Insingo, It made a very good wisk to prepare the eggs.

Time to fry the pepperoni and cook the ham a little using a bit of olive oil.

Another quick wisk while the meat cooks.

Looks like it's ready for the eggs.

A touch of salt, not too much though since the pepperoni and ham have plenty enough. A little pepper, and it's shaping up.

Flipola perfectly executed if I may say so ;D

Right after the flip I cook the wrap for 15 sec in the microwave to soften it up enough to roll without cracking, the heat of the eggs will do the rest.

And the final product.

Wrapped up for the drive into work for my Wife, that's right, for my Wife. After all of this work I don't get to eat a bite of it, not one taste; why you ask? not because it's for my Wife and I wouldn't take a piece from her, I'd totally steal a chunk of it if that was the case :D
It's because I have food allergies and eggs are off limits, but boy does it smell good :(

Had never thought of adding finely chopped and fried pepperoni.
I'll be trying that, but for now I'm going to crave that egg burrito all day! :D

You and me both, stinking allergies !
At least my wife said it tasted great.

Definitely give the pepperoni a try next time, it really pops when added to the eggs.

Thanks for taking the time to read my boring post Lisa, have a good day while craving that breakfast burrito ;D

I love it. This reminds me of a camping trip with my son. I screwed up and forgot the bag with kitchen utensils and had to cook everything with only my knife. chop, cut, stir, flip, extract and eat. Taught my son a vauable lesson about what not to do when planning and preparing for a camping trip, and the value of a good knife when the other lesson fails.

I made that same mistake once while on a hunting trip, thankfully I had a bigger knife to use a a spatula ;D

Sounds like you turned it into a good time with your son, well done Sir. Nothing like the amazement on the face of a child when you turn the bad to good.

Thanks for checking out my post.

Much like RR84, I have an urge for an Insingo too, and now, an omelet w/pepperoni.:) Mighty thoughful of you Able1 to whip that up for Mrs. 1AdominAble1.

What, no onions?!? Still, looks tasty and I must try the pepperoni idea.

Thanks, she's quite deserving of it my friend, I'm a very lucky man.

If you don't have an Insingo yet you're missing out, although it looks like a folding santoku kitchen knife it's proven to be very handy and capable.

I hope that you enjoy the pepperoni in the omelet, I think it goes very well with it.
Had to leave the onions out, my Wife is allergic to them :(
Made one up last week for her with some green peppers from the garden if that brings me any redemption ;D

Hey, you forgot the green peppers:D, this thread is making me hungry.

That's because I was daydreaming about those large regulars with the end mill grooves on the scales that you have Dino, I can't find one anywhere after searching everywhere.
When are you going to sell me one of those ?

Thanks for checking out the thread.
