No Pic sorry, you will have to do with my word descriptions.

I picked up an Insingo #2/50 a month or so ago and has been occasional carry, I finally decided it was time to clean and tweak. Below are my observations.

- I like having screw heads on both sides, I can use two hex wrenches and the bolts won't spin.

- I removed the lanyard tube, not to my liking, reattached a different one through the old holes in the previous style.

- New washers are cool, they were a little bit lube dry from the factory IMO.

- Pivot bushing tolerance was so tight I couldn't get it out at first, then I used a ball point pen and a small tapper to push it out evenly. Needed the pen to reinstall it too. First time I've needed to do that. Usually a finger tip push on a seb will pop it out.

- Re-assembly was tricky, usually I do the sandwich method and slide the completed layers on the handle slab all at once. There seems to be even less bushing overhang to keep the washers in place. I had to resort to stakcing things on piece by piece.

- flitzing the blade side, bushing and washers made less of a difference then I expected. It's still not glass smooth. I isolated the remaining not smooth to the the ceramic ball on the lock bar. I put a small drop of extra lube I hope it works in.

- Removing and reinstalling the pocket clip was a bit more effort then usual. I had to put a fair amount of downward pressure on the clip screw before it would take up the thread in the handle.

Overall I love the blade shape, very handy for me, I wish it had come out years ago, might make me love my other current sebenzas at little less. ;)

Pics or is didn't happen !!! ........Just Kidding.

Great observations. For the first year, its an exclusive, after that, CRK is going to offer them in their lineup. I am going to wait until then I think and see if they come out with a micarta insert version. I love the blade profile and looks to be great for cutting and slicing. Maybe its the ultimate utility sebenza ! I'll find out soon enough.

It might, but it won't :)

you think tolerances are different on the insingo, or would it just be the little variance you will get with blades?

#2 of 50? second hand?

the first run was limited to 50 pieces, he has #2/50.

I would not be able to say truely, but on my sample of one, as compared to my other sebenzas, yes the tolerance is even finer. Yes I bought it new so it's first hand.
