Insingo dull spot near very tip - anyone else experienced this?

Hi folks.
I noticed my insingo sebenza in magnacut had a dull spot right near the tip (but on the blade, not the point) which is big enough that it is difficult to sharpen out quickly. Not sure how this happened, though I probably just opened a package with a metal box it in or something. It deformed the end of the blade enough so it the blade can be seen as sloping toward the spine under magnification. The tip is so fun to use it doesn't surprise me I did this. Any advice about how to sharpen this out? Not sure it's worth it as it may happen again if this is something common with the insingo.

I had a brand new inkosi a few months ago come in with a rounded off tip, another inkosi came in with a shiny area on the side on the blade where the polishing wheel ran up onto the stonewashed area of the blade during sharpening. Crk quality control didn't catch either one. I returned both to the dealer.None of my older sebenza 21's have any of these issues. Seems as if CRK quality control has been slipping these past few years. Not trying to upset any fans just stating my honest first hand experience.

I get they're expensive but I don't see the big deal, most knives start to shine after a few sharpenings anyways.

Just sharpen it and make sure you don’t roll the stone off the tip. Easy fix with a few passes from a coarse stone

If you have to zoom in enough that your photo could be used in a trial proving your carpet fibers were found at a crime scene, I don think there’s much of an issue here. Keep using and sharpening your knife, enjoy it and don’t get so hung up on the tiniest of details!

I dropped mine and got a rather large chip less than one millimeter from the tip. It was easy to sharpen out (Magnacut), I'd suggest you do the same if you're unhappy with it.

Personally I would sharpen it out, but also I understand the issue inherent in having a knife that expensive come with that edge issue.

I regularly experience knives half that price come with flawless edges from the factory.
