Am I the only one that looks at the beautiful Insingo blade, with all that lusciously exposed blade while closed, and just wished it had a nail nick versus the thumb stud? You know it would still be easy as hell to open with your thumb and it would be super sexy to me.

One can dream.

One can dream.

I would like it also, I find myself getting into traditionals lately.

No thanks, I prefer a one hand open and while I know it can be done it's just not as easy.

I'll join the small group of nay sayers. It's a one hand knife with the thumb stud. It just wouldn't be a CRK without the lug IMO.

I was not thinking of a traditional nail nick. One like the Mnandi, but a little bigger. Mmmmm, sexy. Haha...

No stud, no nailnick, but a front flipper would be real cool. I can't stand the look of a flipper with the tab sticking out, but front flippers on the other hand. No more stud and no more ugly tab.

i would take a front flipper all day, no nail nick though. i only buy knives that provide one handed opening and i know some nail nick knives will open one hand but they are far and few. a crk flipper may never happen, i know that chris dosent even recommend flicking open his folders like we all like to do with most knives. so to have a flipper with a design that would hold up to the impact of flipping to crk standards would be nice to see but most likely not happen

Yes, apparently you ARE the only one who "wished it had a nail nick versus the thumb stud." :D
A flipper would absolutely ruin that knife for me

Would be like the old Bob Dozier small folding hunters before he started adding the thumbstuds..........They open with the nail nick very easily.
