Insingo or a 21 for a small Micarta

Insingo for me particularly in the small version. I find the blade shape more useful for a wider variety of tasks and have less fear of bending the tip. However, I think the Insingo is still a 21 as I understand that designation to refer to the frame and they don't put the Insingo blade profile in a regular, 25, or Inkosi.

I would say either. I have the small clip point (micarta inlay) and it and it is my favorite Sebenza. If I were to buy a small Insingo(and I most likely will eventually), I would certainly go micarta inlay on it. I think a Insingo micarta inlay would make a fantastic knife. Can't see how you can go wrong with either.
So IMO the micarta is the important part-fills the hand a bit as well as some grip and this works very well on the small.

I have both and they both get carried pretty equally. Can't go wrong with either one. It really comes down to what blade shape you prefer.

Insingo hands down.
(My biased opinion!)

I am a huge fan of Wharny's (or modified versions of) for their versatility.

The Insingo blade is the best modified Wharncliff I have used.
It also does something a lot of these types of blades can't, and that's stab straight into material surprisingly well.

This shouldn't be so easy.....

Insingo. It's just a better blade shape for most normal person EDC tasks. You can't go wrong either way - both knives can do pretty much anything - but I find most tasks easier with the Insingo.
