Insingo versions

I have a Ti-lock now. It is a very unique knife which is why i wanted it. There are certainly some things about it that do not hit the
usual knife guy hot buttons but it is a fine EDC for the things you would usually attribute to an EDC. It did take a bit of time to get to the point where I could deploy and close it quickly.

I have become interested in the large Sebenza, especially the Insingo version. However I have not as yet seen any modified
versions of the standard Insingo...no special inlays or tooling...just the straight up knife. Is the Insingo to new for any modified
versions to be out there as yet? There are certainly plenty of standard large sabenzas out there the inlay and/or tooling.

Do you guys think we are likely to see more Insingo versions soon or are we not likely to see the Insingo offered that way.

They currently offer both the large and small insingo with Micarta inlays.

Thanks I guess I will just keep looking until I see some. Keep checking the usual suspects as retail outlets but have not seen any with inlay posted
so far.

Your best bet is to order from CRK themselves. There will be a little wait time but its definitley worth it.

The Micartas are very nice. You'll probably have to order direct from CRK and expect a long wait, but it's worth it.

I ordered a small Insingo with African Blackwood from CRK a while ago. It should be getting done soon I would think. You should go that route if you don't want to wait and see if dealers get any, as snowreaper mentioned. I absolutely love the Insingo blade shape.

They're doing wood inlayed Insingos now? I thought it was just the Micarta...

I don't know if they're only taking special customer orders for the Insingo woodies or if they'll be in dealers. I would assume that if they'll make me one, they'll make a batch for a dealer as well. I would assume that if dealers will have them, we'll be seeing them around the time mine should be done. I believe I placed my order in Oct and Heather quoted me 4 months.

They're also gonna be polishing them unless otherwise specified like I did. The polished blades look nice but I prefer the stonewashed finish. I think it's gonna look nice with double silver lugs and spacer and Black wood inlays.

Undertow82, thanks, that's what I assumed about the special orders. Snakewood with an Insingo sounds tempting...

African blackwood sounds great, after I get my micarta inlay, that is next on the list.
