Insingos with damascus or wood inlays?

Has anyone ordered a damascus or wood inlayed insigne yet? I think it would looked pretty good. The insingo is my EDC now, so I would like to do an upgraded one.

I have requested damascus blade as an option for insingo blade from CRK. However, CRK does not offer damascus version
with insingo blade. They do offer wood inlay. Return order for wood inlay is about 4-6 months depending on wood you choose.
Hope this help.

FYI when I asked Chris at the recent Plaza Cutlery Show in CA if an Insingo would be available in Damascus, he replied "Well if you ordered it, I suppose we would make it" with a smile, noting that they were about to do a batch of damascus blades soon. I'd call Heather (he agreed).

That's great news.

I tried ordering one a few weeks ago and was told that they will not do it.

I literally just got off the phone with Heather regarding this subject. She wrote me up for a Small 21 Insingo (Stonewashed) with African Blackwood inlays and Silver hardware. Wait time is at least 4 months so I have plenty of time to save.

I really wish walnut wasn't only an option for the Mnandi. It's my favorite hardwood.

Edit: I also asked Jessie yesterday about the possibility of a damascus Insingo but she also told me they weren't planning on doing them. Maybe they'll look into it if enough people ask them about it. Obviously, it would look amazing and the Insingo blade shape seems to be catching on. It's definitely my favorite blade shape.

Id rather see the regular blade profile be made with damasucs again. But an insingo blade in damascus would be pretty sweet as well.

Will they "polish" the Insingo blades also?

Actually, I had to ask her for stonewashed specifically so apparently they are polishing the Insingo Woodies normally. I'm sure the polish looks sweet but I like the stonewashed look more.

I'd like one with a spirograph damascus blade.
And please add micarta to the handle.
Yummmm.
