I've been dying to ask this question since I got it, so here it is. I recently got my Shiva Rex(awesome knife!), but the inspection sticker wasn't signed by anyone. Anybody else ever have this problem? The only reason I asked was the custom shop logo appears to be pretty smudged. It lead me to wonder if I somehow slipped past inspection maybe? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks HOGS.
p.s. I know pictures would help, but I can't post pictures and the pictures I took are bad anyways(can't seem to get a closeup on the logo)

I will check on it...e-mail me your name at amy@bussecombat.com and will personally punish the inspector..LOL

Also try some WD40 and spray it on the logo and wipe it... it might be smudged because it is just some residue left over from the engraving...Should look AWESOME after you try that:):)

Have you tried washing the blade with a mild dish soap? I only ask because i had this CS Meaner from a Ganzaaa that had what looked to be a really smudged logo...

I had it listed for sale for awhile with no interest, and was starting to consider sending it in to Busse to see what could be done. I decided to try carefully washing the blade to see if there was any improvement first, so I used a soft clean sponge and some very warm water with a little dish soap, and...

:) ...Turns out it was just "Shop grunge" that came off easily without any ill affects to the blade. :thumbup: It sold fairly quickly after that.

haha ill try that real quick...if i can't do it before work ill do it when i get back around 9 if i still have the energy. making pizzas for a living is tough work!

bmilla35, try something like photobucket to post pics. after you upload them to photobucket, click the IMG Code (which will copy it) and then paste it directly into your post here.
 
alright ill give it a try...the one i took was really blurry though. ill try when i get back from work
