After my last acquisition, it dawned on me that I have achieved a milestone that was inspired by a fellow BF member. The ThievesLikeUs picture turned on the switch that I can’t seem to turn off. Then again maybe I don’t want to turn it off just yet.

This was my inspiration picture that opened the door to CRK. The picture was posted by ThievesLikeUs back in Aug 2011 under "CRK Folders". The trio of Micarta inlay, Snakewood inlay and the Raindrop Damascus set the tempo.

This is my version however not identical but expresses my personal taste.

Now I have other pictures to follow. Dang this ride is getting expensive.

Beautiful!! Yea my checking account isn't what it used to be.. but hey it's only money right!! You can't buy happiness.. But a new knife comes pretty close.. :)
Thanks for sharing!!

So jealous!

One question, some of the bolts (?) Seem to have no holes while some do, custom?

All the bolts in my sebenzas have holes.

they look very clean that way.

If I'm not mistaken the Snakewood is an older 21, the Raindrop is a regular. They only had hex holes on one side.

Thanks for all the cool comments:thumbup:. Happy to know others out there are supportive of what we have in common. Would also like to see if others have been inspired by a picture and if so, show it.

All very nice! Love the look of that basket weave on a plain handle!

I am missing a Damascus Sebenza, but hopefully not too long and then I can post a similar pic! As for the screws, I have a mix of single and double sided Hex screws on my sebenzas. I can't pin down the exact year but they went to the double sided screws a few years ago.
