Went to see the movie 300 at the earliest I could on friday. Well after watching that I had waaaaaaaaay too much testosterone in my system and it flowed while I was in my shop :) Here's the end result! 21 1/4 overall with a 14 3/4 blade. Scales are jade green G10. If any Persian army comes asking questions I got the answer!!!!! :D

I haven't seen the movie yet, but if it inspired you to make this big nasty...I may have to go very soon! Great Knife! -Matt-

I guess I need to go to the movies!!!! Nice blade. I bet that was a bear to grind.

Excellent work there, and I know what you mean about the testosterone flow! That movie had me pumped, and I can't remember any other movie I've seen get a standing ovation at the credits. I may see it again.

Sweetness. I can see the movie's visual influence in the blade shape and grind. But, don't hold out on us - which steel did you use? What's the spine thickness? Give us specs! :D

THAT is one heckuva knife!! WOW!! What are you calling that big, bad, beast of a knife!! I like it a lot, by the way.

I gotta say....that is one sweet looking blade. Probably one hell of a chopper as well with all that weight forward. The 300 had me pumped for an hour or two afterward as well.

Good Heavens, Mr. Siegle!!

I'll certainly abandon any purely theoretical aspirations I may once have had to 'invade' your forge in search of metallic 'booty.'

That is one scary-looking de-animator.
