I just joined this forum less than a week ago and have already bought a second BK14 (to mod. I'm going to strip her down, patina her up, jimp her, and dress her up in home-made scales), ordered a new sheath, upgraded my sharpening system, and about to get a BK9.

All this inspired by forum posts. I think this is going to be an expensive relationship.

Our work here is done...

It doesn't have to be an expensive relationship. A 14 to mod plus a 9 and 14 to use and you could stop right there and have all your needs met forever. Post threads of your various adventures with your 9 and 14 at your side and you'd be g2g.

What might be expensive is the medical bills if you don't post up pics.

A man after my own heart... modded 14s, and The King!

Have u seen pics of a BK17?? Hmmm? Perhaps you need one of those too. I think every man woman and child in America (heck, the World) needs a BK17.

I don't think any Becker collection is complete without a 2 IMO...

What are you gonna make the scales out of? The 14 was my first and I picked it up to mod too.

Some scrap cocobolo in my dad's shop. I think I can find a big enough piece to bookmatch scales. Yours looks great by the way.

Heh.. yea.. I was planning on getting a BK16 in a couple months. I'm a sucker for a drop point. But I have to pace myself. I don't like seeing a knife sit around and if I buy too many at once I won't use them all.
