I am a huge fan of the 110 (I have around 12, ranging from a very early one to Custom Shop versions), and it`s my favorite factory knife. Apparently one of my customers thinks the same way. He asked me to make a fixed blade similiar to the 110, but with a slightly shorted blade of O1 steel, and orange G10 handles. I thought you all might be interested in seeing the finished knife. Now I need to make one for myself!

JK, that's really nice... I wish Buck would make a 110 and a 112 fixed blade... ITE ...

That is a very useful blade. Granddad knew what he was looking for when he nailed down what would be the folding hunter blade.

In our Boone and Crockett series this year is the #113 which is kind of a fixed version of the #112. It was started as a collectible but is winding its way into a user.

I was going to say, Buck ought to have a look at that, but CJ beat me to it. Very nice! Will plan a stop at the Buck factory on our next trip down to Portland from Canmore.

I have a Boone and Crockett 110, so I`ll have to see about getting a 113.

Cool knife,I trim & shoe my own horses and years ago made a few fixed blades out of old hoof rasps with deer antler handles.I wasn't real happy with them and gave them away to friends that liked them.Making a quality knife isn't easy!:)

That looks like a useful knife, for anything from the kitchen, to the tool box, tackle box, belt sheath, etc. I like full tang construction for fixed blades. Very simple, rugged and durable.

there were a very few fixed blade 110 's made in the custom shop
some how one walked up to me for sale ...
what a nice guy that the former owner is..

When, or rather if, a 'original' fixed blade 112 ever comes up for sale KJ's riding mower will be stolen! One of them would be in the top 10 'wanted' 112's ever discovered...One of. Bucks old employee's will be the source..A man CAN dream..

But... There isn't a nail knick! :) Just kidding! I like that very much. I have to find a pic of the 113 now!

:thumbup:Very cool knife John!I am a big 110&112 fan myself. That would make a great all around knife, from utility to fishing and hunting.
