I was watching the Fikes Knives Blade Testing video and was inspired to make the knife and the video. Thanks Jimmy for the inspiration!

The knife is my own crazy style, I hope you guys like it!

It still needs a handle, more pics once that is done.

Chisel Ground
Fully hardened
.262" 5160 steel
18" long
~60 RC Hardness
Flat ground, near zero main bevel, thicker tip, micro bevel on obverse side

I think it could have been impressive if someone who really knew how to cut did the chopping!

Those little aspens are tricky to cut and the knife kind of scared me with the plywood stabbing penetration and slicing.
 
Very cool lookin and performin blade.

Gotta ask, what kind of kitty was that in the tree?

Real nice blade design and a good workout for a fine knife. Enjoyed the video. Not that I think cutting is fun, or anything:D Keep 'em coming.

The orange kitty in the background looked a lot like a Maine Coon to me.
