Instagram knife guys

Why go to Instagram when you can post pics here? I'll pass. If you want me to see your pics, post them here.
 
Knives_in_nature, please go to Settings (upper right)
then to Permission Groups (left side)
and select your paid membership.

Firstly, I upload pictures on here all the time. Secondly, Instagram is something fun and easy to use right after you take a picture. It's much easier to just upload directly to Instagram then it is to get the photos on here. The knife community is huge on Instagram as well.

This. And it's more mobile friendly. Easy for people who might be too busy to sit around computers. And also, why not?
For mine, check the signature. :)
 
I did get on there in the last year.

I don't like it for two reasons -

1 - Instagram forces you to use a smart phone to access their content. Yes, you can get to the site, but you cannot use it on your laptop for instance.

2 - Instagram forces you to crop your photo down to a size and shape that is convenient for the app, and not so convenient for my pictures, so I have been using it less and less.

I do get on and check out others photos - I may just not know how to use it properly.

I am not sure where the line is drawn, there are so many new "social media" places, pinterest, instagram, facebook, and lord knows what else with all of the "connect" icons on web pages nowadays.

Oh, and I use mqqn or mqqn01 just about everywhere I am registered.

You are only the 8th post on this thread but you characterize a lack of enthusiasm of some others as lots of garbage attitudes. Not a great way to spread that Instagram love, baby.
 
there is a huge instagram knife culture, if your not on there you don't know what your missing. I have met a lot of cool people there. Whats not to love about knife porn!!!!!!!!!!
