This has me scratching my head. I don't see any pins or a threaded tang. Only thing I can think of would be a shaft protruding from the end cap that is threaded. Then thread onto tang? Does this sound right?

I haven't tried this, but yeah—if the tang is actually connected to this buttcap, it must be a threaded connection, I would think.

The buttcap looks thick enough that it could just be threaded with a blind hole. That’s how this one is done.

Thanks. I always do things the hard way, this seemed to easy to be right
I used stainless pin to make it invisible . . .it is pinned , no thread .

And another one hidden pin to be sure that end cap can t turn...

Could be drilled and tapped,so could the bolster, and joined by threaded rod or nut soldered or welded on to buttcap
Or done other ways

Thanks guys.I went ahead and tapped the tang but can always change that. I will post pics as soon as I have something picture worthy. Probably after rough grind if anyone is interested. Make a wip ?
