Got at HD. Perfect for hanging my knife storage case. If I have to leave in a hurry, I know where they all are ;)
Anyone have a similar "grab and go" setup?

No, but it's fine if you're going to haul your collection around a lot to share ideas with your buds.
I carry a folder clipped in my rh pocket, and a 3.5" fixed blade in a belted cross-draw. All I plan to carry...but then, I don't travel much.

I have a Spyderco case I got to keep up with my folders. It hangs on a hook inside the closet door in my bedroom.

I didn't plan it like that, it's just a convenient place.

I'm acquiring more expensive knives..some are not my EDC's. I know where they are if the worst happens here. These are not for travel but more to grab and get the hell out of my house/area should the time arise.

Either you sold all your clothes to buy knives or it's a wash day cuz the closet is empty. ;)

That "grab n go" concept doesn't apply to the mini xbow? I'd highly suggest mounting a 2nd hook for the xbow for ranged kills.

I have a Go bag but nothing exclusively with just knives in it for easy extraction.

I cannot make up my mind whether that's a good idea or a terrible one. Granted it is not marked as EXPENSIVE KNIVES CASE or the like, but in the event of a burglar getting into your house, you are making it soooooooooo easy for them to grab them and leave.

Besides, having stuff (even the hook) on the sides of a closet, because you may need to put bulky items in there and the hooks will get in the way. I try to organize my non-clothes closets with storage boxes, and I know that that hook will bug me every day.

Yeah I want to know more about that crossbow. How mini is it? How powerful??What color?!?

I have to comment. I have an unobtrusive drawstring bag "hidden" on a hook under a bath robe and other stuff inside the closet door. Several of my most expensive babies stay there. When I car travel, I throw in a couple more and take it along. It can be debated whether they would be safer at home, but at least they are not unattended all the time when I take them with me.

I happened to buy what appears to be the exact same model of "Powerful Mini Crossbow" for one of my kids, brand new at a garage sale last weekend for a few bucks. It's almost powerful enough to shoot all the way through an empty cereal box. When fired directly at the ground, the bolt will penetrate soft dirt nearly 3/4". Needless to say, it's suitable for killing all types of North American large game.

I have a set up like that too. Started with one Spydie Pack. Now I'm up to 3.

Yeah, I have thought about this. This case will be for my not so expensive knives. For those, elsewhere will be the case.
