Instant email notification

It isn't. I'm not getting notified. My subscribed threads come up in my User CP as New Subscribed Threads (that is, new responses to subscribed threads) but I'm not getting email notification of these new responses.

This is something recent. I logged out and back in yesterday and it didn't help.

This sounds like the problem why is it?? that Dan Gray had recently and he didn't get an answer on it.

Same thing is happening to me. Twice today I've gone to my User CP and seen that "instant email notification" has been changed to "weekly notification", but I don't know why or by whom. I changed it back, both times. We'll see if it stays that way.

Well, my setting for "instant email notification" hasn't changed, but I'm still not getting anything.
