Instead of Pimping out the BK 2

Well, instead of pimping out my BK2 with fancy scales and a nice leather sheath for my upcoming birthday, I changed direction and just ordered a BK9 instead. It's a lot of knife and I've never even seen one in person, but have a feeling it will be a good replacement for the small machete and fiskars hatchet I've been using. I had debated over the Junglass or maybe a smaller ESEE but they're so much more money and I just love the look of the Beckers. We'll see, no going back now.
 
Oh, it'll more than replace the small machete....but those Fiskars X7's are damn handy - and cheap, to boot. Gratz on the decision to go with the King! Well done.

I feel good about it. Ethan Becker seems very active on here and has pride in his products. Don't mind supporting a good guy like that. Now the long wait for the mailman!

Mr. Ethan Becker, Thank you for the reply it's an honor! It's supposed to get here today by some miracle, ahead of time. Did you pull some USPS strings?:) I can't wait to put it to work today, tommorrow, and this weekend! I'm not waiting until my birthday comes to open it either, I get to the mail before my wife! Everything its hyped up to be, great ergonomics, chops like a monster, super sharp right out of the box! Can't wait to use it some more this weekend.

I'm believing the "king" thing rather quickly. Ended up clearing brush for about 2 hours. I do have a BK2 and 14 which I am very ashamed I haven't put much use to since they're in an emergency truck bag. That's why I took the 9 out immediately to use. Simple Green cleaned it up really nice after. Im going to take care of clearing things at the parents house this weekend.
