My knife collection has grown con$iderably since joining Blade Forums - go figure. 🤨 The aggregate amount of my knife and gun collections is in the six-digit range. I got a quote from my current homeowners insurance and to add a $100k rider would increase my policy 2.5x. 🤯

Do any of you insure your knives and gun collections? If so, was the increase to your policy ridiculous too? Is there a company that insures knives and guns similar to how Hagerty covers classic cars?

If anyone knows of an insurance company that reasonably insures weapons - please state them. Thanks

There was a guy who had a table at the Blade Show who specialized in insuring collections. He also advertised in Blade Magazine. You could check the Advertizer’s Index in a recent issue. I no longer subscribe.

I have a valuable personal property rider on my homeowners policy, I have my guns and my wife's jewelry on it. It was very cheap through USAA

This is who I use. My premiums are very reasonable but the value of my stuff is nowhere near what yours is.

I have never had to make a claim but I’ve had their coverage for about a dozen years now.

EDIT: Did a quick calculation and my Annual premium is exactly 1.2% of my coverage amount if that helps.
