Good morning everyone.
I wanna show you a knife that i recently finish. It´s a BBQ knife forged from a bar of 5160 steel. Is not mi best job, but i like it enough.
The cutting edge length is 7 1/2", and the overall length is 13". The maximun blade thickness is close to 0.177".
The handle is made of walnut root with four stainless steel pins.
Includes a handmade leather sheath, made by me, of course.
Let's see pictures.

Great knife for a brisket!

Thanks Dangerously! Do you understand it? Because practically nobody does :(. I allways have to explain it.

I think it’s one of those things that you don’t forget when you see it.

I assumed it was a “d” and a “p” making the figure 8, and then the little tail poking out is the cross stroke to make a “Q”.

It’s funny, because “PDQ” is an old saying here for “Pretty Darned Quick,” meaning fast. But if your first name is Pablo, I’ll bet it’s actually your initials.

Exactly! That is the way i allways explain it.
Thank you very much to all! I'm glad you like it.

Beautiful work. Now, not only do I add some more knives to my wish list, I get a big smack on the head that it has been WAY too long since I fired up my BBQ and made a brisket. Or a pork shoulder. Or even a batch of my wings... :(
Thanksgiving & the holidays are on the way. Time to redeem myself.

I forgot to mention... although I really like the threesome that you posted, the original knife is the best of the bunch to my eye.

Thanks you so much for the comments.
I finished another knife last weekend, i will post it when i finish the sheath.
Regards.
