Integral Bushing

...Robert, the pivot bushing was added to the 110 blade in 1980...This is the 3 dot 110...:)

...They had a hole in the blade...LOL...sounds weird huh?...You shoulda seen my face the first time I took an old 110 apart expecting to see a bushing and all I saw was a hole...:p...by the way...this also applies to the 112's...:)

...It was always steel on steel...The blade pivot pin was always steel and never rotated around the brass hole...the blade rotated around the pivot pin...In 1966, the 3rd version, 1st variation actually had a pivot bushing integral ( forged in )to the right side of the frame......There are too many little changes that made different variations and stuff to even think about...LMBO...:p...

I guess you have confused my little pea brain but isn't the blade pivot pin brass and the blade pivots on that? Without the brass bushing it would be steel tang on the brass pin.

:o...Yeah...yer right...LMBO...That darn pivot pin is brass unless you have stainless or nickle steel bolsters. I had a steel rocker rivet in front of me as I was typing and the mind took over where the fingers should have doing the walking...:p...The bushing actually looks like phosphour bronze or some alloy of brass to me...I have a few of 'em here too...:o:o:cool:

...I made some "edits" to my last post as I really haven't had my 14th cup of coffee yet...:eek::p
