Here's a machete style chopper with a full tang and integral bolsters. I made this about 8 years ago and gave it to my mother in law. I just got to see it again yesterday and I thought it was pretty cool. The handle is ebony and I can't remember what the steel is. Thanks for looking!:)

That is a nice looking knife. I like the style for clearing brush.

However i wouldnt trust myself around my mother in law with that knife :)

Thanks for the comments! This chopper isn't really very good for chopping... It takes too long to go go through even small pieces of wood:D.. My mother in law collects miniature things so I gave this to her a long time ago.:D

To be honest, now it looks even more impressive.
Is the steel hardened and sharpend?

Haha, good one !!

What i want to know now is where did you find the little person that made the sneaker print in the mud under the knife ?

Must have been one of Santa's elves:D

Hangelo, the blade is heat treated and sharp. It would be fully functional if you were 12" tall!

1. Great work!
2. Evil trick.
3. I also want to know where the footprint came from, may need to call in the Big Foot hunters to search for "Little Foot" :-)

I am glad. At first I thought you were crazy giving a giant chopper to your mother-in-law. Seemed like a liability :) The miniature makes more sense, and looks awesome. Had me fooled.

That was not funny.
Ok, maybe alittle.
You got me GOOD Ray! (shaking head)
Nice work! Dozier (not bob)

LOL, had me fooled as well Ray. In fact when I scrolled down to the Spydie pic, my first instinct was that you photoshopped the Millie into the pic with the chopper:D Nice miniature. Stacy would be proud:thumbup:

You sure had me going. I was all ready to have you make me a chopper. Hmmmm, maybe it would serve well as an integral toothpick! :D
