Ariel,

I have checked out some of your tutorials and they are always awesome and very informative. Is there any chance of a turorial or some background on how you make an integral knife. I have not ever tried to make one and am very interested it how to go about it. Thanks!

Ariel, beautiful work as always. I'm really liking the criollo style, it's very similar to our cartouche knives from the fur trading days.

I can work on a more detailed one next year when I resume forging (forging in summer is something I try not to do) but in the meantime here's an old link showing some steps :)

Thanks So much Ariel! I am most interested in how you get the handles to match the knife body in the situation where the integral knife metal in radiused and not square.

Amazing, Ariel you are one of the most creative and unique artists I've ever seen...

that stag handled beauty really turns my crank. What a knife!

Ariel, my friend, Gary, might be looking you up next month while travelling in Argentina. I gave him your contact info, and I'm hoping he'll pick me up a belt buckle at least;). Anyway, I'm hoping you guys will hook up.

The kiridashi is a neat little knife too, I especially like the sheath set up.

Thanks guys!

Lorien, check out my website, that's the only belt buckle I have ready to go now :)
Regardless I'll be glad to meet with him, of course!

he'll be in Argentina within a week:thumbup:
At the very least, he's excited to meet you.

That first knife is really an inspired piece. It all comes together.

gorgeous man! i don't know that much so forgive not knowing the parts, but I love the transition from the blade to the round part just before the handle.

Both are beautiful, the attention to detail is amazing. Keep up the great work! I especially like the little Kiridashi and sheath combo, it's pretty sweet.
