Beautiful knife! The engraving really adds tasteful embellishment.
I'm curious as to the "trails" on the blade in the pictures. Are they really there or is it just oil on the blade? Either way, very well done!
 
Love it, love daggers in general.

What makes it a pillow dagger? You keep it next to your bed?
 
I too am a dagger fan and have actually been studying how to fight with them recently. I will say this one is absolutely stunning. The blade profile is exquisite and the grinds a thing of beauty. I'd be afraid of sleeping with it under my pillow though, I often slide my hand under there when tossing and turning (bad back).

The squiggles in the first pic are light refracting off the beads. The lines in the second pic I can only guess are the blade reflecting a corner in my light box. Shows you how much experience and talent guys like Coop and Caleb have.

Pillow Dagger is a made up term I use to describe a style of blade I imagine some Damsel secreted in her bed to protect her honour and virtue in ye old days. "not too hard, not too soft, just right she said, as she pulled her blade out of the intruders eye"
