It was a challenge for me, I realized that I had to make one someday since I saw the first Lochsa from Cook. I decided to incorporate my SS bearings pivot system and front framelock design, so it flipps. I also made a lock bar limit screw inside of it. Blade is 4.3" x 0.2" RWL34, 9.3" OAL. I really enjoyed making it and decided to make more so I shot an email to Mr Cook asking permission to produce integral folders, since he is the only one who makes them and he said yes, also said he would like to see it finished, so there it is. Comments and suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks for checking this out!

That looks extremely well made. I like your clip design.

Kind regards,

Jos

I like that knife better than any other knife I've seen you make.
It is a winner:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

reminds me of a grey whale...

Has anyone ever told you that you have design skills? ;)

Love it, fabulous lines and flow.

I'm usually pretty conservative except in the case of your knives.

I really like your designs. This one is really exceptional.

That is an amazing knife, the details are unbelievable. How the false edge on the back of the blade blends in the closed position, to the hatching on the two edges. Fantastic work.

I agree that this is the most elegant and beautiful design of yours yet. The level of precision is astounding both in the machining and the attention to "line".
Very well done, sir.

Very well done it looks very futuristic and artsy, the cross hatching is awesome also. Overall very well done Imho.

Gus, I don't think you could have done any better......absolutely exceptional!!!

Nice knife.

reminds me of a grey whale...
I'm glad some one else mentioned it. There's something about the impression it leaves and the way it flows that just reminds me of a whale.

Beautiful, flowing and graceful.

I expected to see a piece of innovative art and am impressed with this more than usual. I love that you march to the beat of a different drummer. Outstanding folder.
