In this opportunity I'd like to show you this knife, which has been the topic of a conversation with a collector friend for quite a while.
It's a one-piece laminated knife based on Krupp 4034 and 52100 steels.
It may seem easy to do but it's actually really difficult. Despite this, after I finished doing it, I was very pleased with the result.
It has a 190 mm. blade and 315 mm. is the full length.
The handle is made out of ebony.

I send you my regards.
Claudio.

Was this your first try at a laminated integral? If so, that's amazing. I've tried a couple of them and both ended up in the bucket.

You do beautiful work!

Nice work! I like how you sculpted the handle. The san mai almost looks like a wild hamon, it came out really cool.

Hi Mike, I have also rejected the first two attempts, but the third time's the charm, do not despair! your knives are fantastic.

Another AWESOME laminated blade Claudio!

It DOES look like the third time was the charm, as that looks great.

great looking knife and the picture is excellent! Very daring with that bright orange but the blue hue to the knife really makes it pop!
Great job all around:thumbup:

Thanks for the pep talk. I'll have to give it another try. The end results are worth the heartache and frustration. Plus I like the challenge:D

Very nice Claudio makes me want to go try a San Mai integral :D and also love your carved handle.
