hello together,

I´d like to show you this indian-inspired integral.
the blade has a double bending similar to the ´chilanum´ or ´bichwa´ daggers from india.

some specs:
W1 forged, clayquenched
bronze
ebony
total: 33cm
sharp: 18,5cm
thickness: 5,5-2,0mm

thanks for looking!
gerhard

Wow beautidful work I love the way the steel looks like it just puddled up to the handle in the first pic. It is nice to see carving that has such a natural organic form/appearance.

That is just stunning. Knives like this make me want even more integrals in my collection.

Stunning is exactly the word I wanted to use too, Roger.
Very cool integral.

That is supper cool I love the way the handle fits up to the knife and I see a bird in the carving on the top of the knife .

thank you all for your kind posts- I`m glad you like it!

@d lisch,
david, seeing a´bird´ is an interesting point- a poster in another forum found a sort of´aquatic´ look in there, like the gills of a fish-
...now I`m brooding over MY intentions during the carving...???
I wanted to continue the flowing lines of the blade over the integral-part into the grip.
this developed an organic look allowing many interpretations, ´cause it is found everywhere in the nature.
