Hi ,
I'm looking for a tutorial to see how to integrate/insert a shield on a knife handle .

Thanks a lot.

Could you make or obtain a Two-legged Parser? I've seen several videos of one being used online

You might be better asking in one of the other forums though (or asking Frank or Gary to move this thread)

Seems to me the trick of the parser is that it rides inside a template. If you had the template it might not much matter what you cut with.
I suppose you could skip the template and trace the shield on the handle and cut very carefully.
There's a lot to be said for not inletting a shield, at my skill level anyway.

The only things I've ever put an inlay or shield on was a couple of CVA kit guns. I wanted barrel wedges, not the barrel pins they came with.
On the kit guns, I put the inlay/shield where I wanted it, went around it with an exacto knife, then carefully carved out inside the line using different exacto blades, checking the fit/depth every so often.
