Interactive knife steel chart

yes does enlighten as to that many steels are the same as another
but jest under a diff company name as their version
does make comments i would agree with as to asking why
some steels are not used while others are (?) overused (?)
seems buck could look at some of these for custom blades..
but then i am not a steel snob..
for looking 440 hc for useing s30v and i am happy..
but then i am easy...

This is a popular topic and forever will be among knife fans . Heck, I still spend time comparing the elements . But I once thought elements were 65-70% and the rest 30 .
Now, my thinking has reversed, steel elements 30%, HT 35% and blade profile 35% .
Eagle thanks for posting the chart, should knives hold your interest long enough your thinking may change along the way too . DM

I would add "how the knife is used" into your percentages, Dave. :)
