Interchangable Scales for Sebenza

Just a thought: could we purchase decorated scales without purchasing the entire knife? I would be neat to chose between sandblasted or decorated scales depending on the occastion. And decorated Sebenza freaks could buy several decorated scales.

It might cut into sales of entire knives, but the increased volume in decorated scales might more than compensate. I won't buy two decorated Sebenzas but would buy several different decorated scales.

I presume the scales must be fitted for each knife.

How about a boxed set of a Sebenza and several different decorated scales?

I believe that I spoke to Bridget about this very topic. She said that you could send your knife in and they would make the requested side of the knife, put it on the knife and send the knife back including the side that the knife originally came with. That way, for dress up you could use the decorated slab and then come Monday morning and you could put the plain slab on. I think you would need to contact CRK to confirm this but I think that you would definately have to send the knife in.
