I just want to take a minute to express my appreciation for multitool/knife companies like Leatherman and Victorinox who, probably as a cost-saving measure, use the same parts and tools across multiple (understatement of the week, in the case of Victorinox!) products. As a mechanical engineer and compulsive tinkerer, I love the fact that (for example) the internal tools from the Wave/Charge, Blast/Kick/Fuse, Bond, Curl, Rebar, and even the Rev/Sidekick/Wingman all have the same pivot and locking geometry and are therefore interchangeable across all of the multitools mentioned.
It's a bit different with Victorinox. Yes, all of the knives of each size use identical tools that are interchangeable with themselves (the can opener on a Tinker is interchangeable with that of a Camper), but the fact that each tool or set of tools uses a different spring shape makes individual tool swapping a bit more difficult. Not to worry, though, because you can swap out entire layers instead! It's like a sandwich! And unlike Leatherman multitools, there is no limit to the number of tools you can add to a SAK if the pins are long enough.
