Hey guys, I've been tossing around the idea of trying to put together a gathering to bring together some Canadian Beckerheads, and to invite our fine brothers and sisters to the south up to the Great White North for a weekend of knifey-drinky-shooty goodness. Now I realize there are not that many of us up here, and I have yet to actually see another living, breathing Beckerhead other than myself around these parts, but I was wondering what the rest of you guys would think about making the pilgrimage up to the land of terrible gun laws and wonderful beer?

This isn't a signup thread or anything...just want to gauge the interest of setting up a dedicated meet in my area...it is rather purty. It would probably be held somewhere near (or relatively near) Vancouver, BC for reference. Perhaps Squamish (if you want breath-taking scenery) or Maple Ridge, Chilliwack, Harrison area (If you want breath-taking scenery and farm smell).

I know it would be a bit of a drive, but even a few Beckerheads and friends would make it worth while. What say you comrades?!

Oh I'd be so in for that! Unfortunately I still have yet to qualify to be a Beckerhead and I'm trying to get onto that! Unfortunately I wasn't very aware that this subforum was very active when I was making Becker threads in the general forum- also I don't want to spam the forums simply to qualify.

Future Beckerhead from Vancouver over here and totally interested in joining you.

You will be the first one I talk to if it looks like it would be worth it. Thanks Cap'n.

I would come, I have got the posts for beckerhead'ness just need to post 3 more threads and as Doogoon I don't want to post filler.

Have you gotten out steelheading again haze240? The freshet with all this rain is probably going to get the river too high and cloudy soon. I am dying to get up north in a couple weeks for some kokanee and lake trout.

Haven't renewed my licenses and tags for the year. After ten trips out without so much as a nibble, I was a lil disheartened and decided to wait for the salmon runs when I can actually have a chance at catching something lol. I need to renew my freshwater tho so I can atleast get out to some lakes. Need to get a new trout rod too, all I have is steelhead and salmon rods, and it feels overkill fishing for stocked trout on 15 pound test and an 11 foot rod lol.

I suppose I should have posted a "Live way too far away to drive." in the poll. You know you CAN also reply, leave comments, suggestions etc.
