Hello,

Please view the following thread:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=736282&page=2&highlight=fehrman

From about post 30 on there is talk about a custom run for a big Fehrman chopper, only out of 3/16" steel. At post 35, Eric Fehrman himself comes in and says he will consider it if enough people commit.

I am having dreams about a killer hybrid of the Fehrman Final Judgement meeting an ABS competition knife.

I am in for one in satin.

Any takers?

Thats a pretty awesome offer from Mr. Fehrman unfortunately I don't have a need for such a chopper right now.

If you are going to do this, you need to specify what the special run is exactly.

If it was a 7.5 inch or so shadow scout where the handle grows .5-1 inches, you have my full attention, an extreme judgement at 10.5-11.5 inches with a black/blue linen micarta handle, has my full attention...

A final judgement that is thinner and .5 inch longer, is not for me...

but i don't really matter, what matters is having what the custom run will be for...

please. I am more than willing to shell out the $$$. What EXACTLY is he offering ? Might be a great idea if the maker comes on and explains- or perhaps a link ? Maybe I am missing something here:confused: ? If so- my apoligies-Thanks:thumbup:

I would be in for one depending on price, I have had several Fehrmans, something like this would be sweet.
Hey Bob, what's the good word bud

Understood. But re-read the posts. Final Judgment is 1.68" wide. This would be 2". These three increases--length, thickness, and width--would add up to something very different than the Final Judgement.

Check out the blades on these cutting competition type knives:

I am thinking of a true hybrid, not just adding 0.5".
