Hello all,
I'm here to ask if there is any interest in owning a US made copy of the Spetznaz Survival Machete which is often praised on many forums, yet is incredibly difficult and expensive to obtain.
Some have asked if this is actually Spetznaz issue, or whether or not it even originated from Russia.
I can't answer either of those, but just on a hunch, it probably did originate from Russia considering the orange bakelite handle which is so prolific on AKs in the form of handguards, bayonet handles, and magazines.
I have absolutely no means of starting this project myself, nor the means to produce and distribute these if they were made.
My idea is to find a reputable, trust worthy cutlery manufacturer and start a kickstarter to get this project going.
Obviously we'd need to find someone who has one of these and would be willing to send it to whatever cutlery manufacturer is up to the task of making it so it can be blueprinted and in turn, mass produced.
So the big question is, is there interest in such a thing?
