Gauging interest in a SKNs Military Red G10 CPM-4V DLC exclusive! Another forum member floated the idea of paying UP FRONT (or at least non refundable preorder ) as a good faith gesture to ST. Nick's. I'm in for any way this knife comes to fruition, Thanks in advance for your votes and thoughts.

As I said in the other thread, whether I am going to purchase it from the dealer or not will have to depend on the price. Sub-$200 would be a no brainer and I don't mind prepaying the full price. Above $200, I'll have to think about it.

I'll wait a while to let the poll play out and then forward link to SNKs. This is the cool part about Spyderco dealer exclusives , You can give input on the configuration you'd like to see, And SOMETIMES it becomes reality.
 
If it was pay up front I wouldn't mind at least you would be guaranteed a knife. None of the luck of the draw who's the fastest stuff that happens a lot with exclusives. I would just hope it's a few months to a year down the road. I agree if it's over $200 I'd have to think about it too. Haven't tried 4v yet and I prefer the larger knives.
 
The nice part of payment /deposit up front ,Is a guarantee to receive the knife once it's delivered from Spyderco. DLT takes deposits on Bark River knives all the time!
 
Not interested in a red G10 DLC coated Military, esp from SKN.

Would like a satin 4V Military with plain black G10 available from all stores.

But, you guys have fun.

Edit: LOL. Three years later and I've got one on the way. Thankfully the larger knife SKN exclusives last about 20 minutes instead of selling out in 90 seconds. Would still like a satin one, but the red and black DLC is starting to grow on me after the Manix2 XL and the Native Chief.
Big thanks to SKN for the larger knife exclusives.

Unfortunately don't think Spyderco (or any dealer) will produce a black G10 4V satin Military . I'd buy one of those too! :)

DA170 DA170 - Ready to inform SNK? 40 people willing to prepay/buy is not a small number (some would buy two), again if we think about the much larger population.
 
I’m definitely down for a St. Nick’s flavored Military. If they would take a deposit up front to guarantee one that is fine with me.
